KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):
MATERIAL MANAGEMENT (Weighting 40%)
Inventory Control
- Monitor and maintain the stock levels of materials required for compression and processing operations
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of required materials to meet production schedules.
- Monitor the inventory control process, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation with system records.
- Assist in optimizing inventory levels and minimize excess or obsolete materials.
- Ensure accurate recording of all inventory transactions in the materials management system..
Material Issuance & Distribution
- Work closely with production supervisors and operators to accurately distribute materials to various production lines
- Ensure that materials are kitted and staged in a timely manner, adhering to production schedules and quality standards.
- Coordinate material with the logistics team, supporting the transportation, shipping, and delivery to project sites.
- Facilitate the smooth receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements, transfers, and consumption
Planning & Procurement
- Ensures accuracy in pricing and verification of waybills
- Conducts meticulous cross-referencing of paperwork to ensure precise inventory control.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills by answering phones and providing information to stakeholders.
- Prepares damage claims for inventory items, presenting them for supervisor review and approval
SHIPPING & RECEIVING (Weighting 30%)
Parts Reporting
- Maintain the receipt of materials into the warehouse, ensuring proper inspection and verification Conduct quality inspections to ensure materials meet specified standards and document any non-conformities.
- Coordinate the issuance of materials to internal teams or project sites, maintaining accurate records of material movements.
- Collaborate with team to ensure the proper receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
Warehouse Shipp and Receiving
- Receive incoming materials, verify quantities against shipping documentation, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in NAV, including transfers to and from jobs.
- Manage surplus materials by emptying job carts and ensuring proper labeling and storage.
- Collaborate with quality control for inspections and store Material Test Reports (MTRs) for compliance reviews.
- Coordinate material arrivals, update schedules, and organize storage locations.
- Conduct cycle counts to reconcile inventory and assist in kitting/staging materials for scheduled production.
- Adjust inventory as directed by project managers or engineers and maintain a clean, organized receiving area.
QUALITY ASSURANCE & COMPLIANCE (Weighting 30%)
Quality Management
- Adhere to quality control measures to verify that received materials meet the required specifications and standards
- Coordinate with team to address any issues related to material quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and protocols in all warehouse activities
Material Handling & Safety
- Coordinates the disposal of surplus property and efficiently manages records retention Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for material handling and warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Following safety protocols and guidelines while handling specific materials (Liquids, Gases, Special Chem, Stainless Steel)
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all incoming and outgoing materials Accurately record all material transactions, including receipts, issues, and transfers, in the materials management system.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of material movements and inventory status for reporting and audit purposes.
- Preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) for assembly and vessel department
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of working experience in warehouse operations and materials management.
- Experience in the oil and gas/fabrication industry (knowledge of pipe fittings and instrumentation).
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License; with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
